Mohammedan vs Hyderabad Predictions

While both sides are in poor form, recent stats still indicate a strong likelihood of a high-scoring outcome.

I can't pick a winner, but I fancy a minimum of three goals scored on Saturday.

  • Mohammedan have seen over 2.5 goals in 3 of their last 4 matches

  • Mohammedan have seen over 2.5 goals in 6 of their last 9 matches

  • Hyderabad have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 away matches (ISL)

Head to Head

Mohammedan and Hyderabad will meet for the first time this weekend.

Mohammedan Form

Mohammedan's tough introduction to ISL life continued last Sunday as they slipped to a 2-1 home defeat against Kerala Blasters. Jesús Jiménez's late goal secured a narrow victory for the visitors.

Andrey Chernyshov's side have struggled to find much form at Kishore Bharati Krirangan this season. Mohammedan failed to win any of their last five home matches across all competitions. Four of those games did see both teams score.

The Black Panthers have picked up just one point from three home fixtures in this, their maiden ISL campaign.

Mohammedan Team News

Mohammedan boss Chernyshov is set to make at least one change to his selection on Saturday. Ghanaian defender Joseph Adjei will miss out after being forced off just 20 minutes into last weekend's reversal against Kerala Blasters.

Florent Ogier is a likely deputy in the Mohammedan defence.

Hyderabad Form

Hyderabad make the trip to Kolkata searching for their first ISL win of the season after a 2-1 defeat at Jamshedpur on Monday. Goals from Rei Tachikawa and Jordan Murray condemned the Nizams to a fourth loss of the campaign.

The ISL strugglers had picked up their first point with a goalless draw against Chenaiyin before the international break.

Thangboi Singto's side have a miserable record in the ISL over the past year. Hyderabad lost 19 and won only one of 26 league games since September 2023.

Hyderabad Team News

Hyderabad boss Singto has one injury concern ahead of the trip to Kolkata. Isaac Vanmalsawma could drop out of the side after he was withdrawn just 38 minutes into the road loss at Jamshedpur.
