Jamshedpur vs Hyderabad Predictions

Jamshedpur can build on their strong start to the ISL campaign with a comfortable home win on Monday.

I’m on the hosts to claim the points with at least two goals scored.

  • Jamshedpur won 3 of their last 4 matches

  • Jamshedpur scored 2+ goals in 4 of their last 5 matches (ISL)

  • Jamshedpur won their last 3 matches against Hyderabad

  • Hyderabad lost 13 of their last 16 matches (ISL)

  • Hyderabad conceded 2+ goals in 11 of their last 13 defeats

Head to Head

Jamshedpur and Hyderabad will meet for the 11th time on Monday. Jamshedpur lead the H2H record with five wins. Hyderabad’s only victory came in Jamshedpur over two years ago.

The Men of Steel eased to a 5-0 win on their most recent visit to Hyderabad earlier this year.

Jamshedpur Form

Jamshedpur continued their positive early-season form with a straight-forward 2-0 win against East Bengal 16 days ago. Rei Tachikawa’s first-half goal set the Men of Steel on their way to a third victory of the campaign.

Khalid Jamil’s side began the season with a pair of impressive ISL wins against Goa (2-1) and Mumbai City (3-2) before a 2-1 defeat at Odisha last month.

A tough side to beat at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur avoided defeat in eight of their last nine ISL home fixtures (W3, D5, L1).

Jamshedpur Team News

Head coach Jamil could be forced into at least one change to his selection on Monday. Rei Tachikawa could miss out after being forced off against East Bengal. Spanish forward Javi Siverio stands by to replace the Japanese forward.

Pronay Halder remains a long-term injury absentee.

Hyderabad Form

Hyderabad come into Monday's contest after picking up their first point of the season with a goalless draw against Chennaiyin two weeks ago. Three games into the new campaign, Hyderabad remain goalless after away defeats at Bengaluru (3-0) and Punjab (2-0).

Thangboi Singto's side have endured a miserable run of results over the past 18 months. Hyderabad failed to win 26 of 27 ISL matches played since March 2023 (W1, D7, L19).

On their travels, the Nizams have lost six while winning just one of seven matches played this year.

Hyderabad Team News

Hyderabad boss Singto has no new injury issues but is unable to call on Parag Shrivas after the defender picked up a late red card in the stalemate against Chennaiyin.
