Hearts vs Omonia Predictions

A re-energised Hearts can maintain their improved form in a likely high-scoring Conference League contest.

Over 2.5 goals is my top tip, while I also like Hearts to win at a very decent price.

  • Hearts have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 9 matches (Conference League)

  • Hearts won 2 of their last 3 home matches (Conference League)

  • Hearts won 2 of their last 3 matches

  • Omonia lost 3 of their last 4 away matches

  • Omonia have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 away matches (Conference League)

Head to Head

Hearts and Omonia will meet for the first time in Thursday's Conference League contest.

Hearts Form

Hearts come into Thursday's Conference League encounter buoyed by a 4-0 Premiership win against St. Mirren on Saturday. Three second-half goals secured a handsome victory in Neil Critchley's first match in the Jambos dugout.

After failing to win their first ten games of the season, the Edinburgh-based side have now won two of their last three matches.

Hearts edged to a 2-1 win against Dinamo Minsk in their second Conference League fixture after a 4-0 road loss at PAOK on matchday one.

Hearts Team News

Head coach Critchley is likely to retain faith in the same XI that eased past St. Mirren on Saturday.

The Jambos have no fresh injury concerns however, Calem Nieuwenhof, Gerald Taylor and Yutaro Oda remain sidelined.

Omonia Form

Omonia arrive in Edinburgh looking to bounce back from domestic defeats against Aris Limassol (2-0) and Enosis (1-0) over the past fortnight. Valdas Dambrauskas's men have now lost three of their last four Cypriot League fixtures.

The Shamrock began their Conference League campaign with a 1-0 defeat against Zira before bouncing back with a 4-0 home victory against Víkingur Reykjavík.

On the road, at least three goals were scored in five of Omonia's seven previous away Conference League encounters.

Omonia Team News

Omonia boss Dambrauskas could shuffle his pack after successive league defeats this month. The Cypriots have no reported injury issues this week.

Experienced Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic will continue to spearhead the Omonia attack.
