Head to Head

Celtic and Dundee have faced each other on 24 occasions over the past decade. Celtic won 21 of those fixtures, while Dundee collected just three draws. The Dark Blues have not beaten the Scottish champions since 2001.

The most recent meeting between these sides saw Celtic claim a commanding 7-1 win at Parkhead.

Celtic Form

Celtic returned to the top of the Premiership on Sunday with a comfortable 3-0 win at Motherwell. Luke McCowan's second goal of the season helped the Hoops to their eighth win from nine games played.

Brendan Rodgers's title-holders have enjoyed a superb year domestically, scoring 24 Premiership wins while losing just once since December 2023.

Unbeaten at Parkhead in 2024, the Hoops won 12 and drew two of 14 Premiership games played in Glasgow since a 2-0 reversal against Hearts last year.

Celtic Team News

Brendan Rodgers could name the same XI that eased to victory at Motherwell. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Greg Taylor remain the only injury absentees for the home side.

Irish forward Adam Idah is in contention for a recall after netting as a second-half substitute at Fir Park.

Dundee Form

An out-of-form Dundee arrive at Parkhead after a fifth defeat in six matches against St. Johnstone on Saturday. Nicky Clark's stoppage-time goal condemned the Dark Blues to a third successive home reversal.

Tony Docherty's men lost four of their last five Premiership fixtures since a four-game unbeaten run at the start of the season.

Defensively vulnerable, Dundee conceded at least two goals in eight of their last 11 away Premiership fixtures, including last season's 7-1 defeat at Parkhead.

Dundee Team News

Head coach Docherty is likely to make some alterations to his selection on Wednesday. Samuel Braybrooke and Oluwaseun Adewumi are among those in contention for a recall to the first XI.

Injured duo Joe Shaughnessy and Jordan McGhee remain sidelined.
